Naresh Chandra Gupta
Naresh C. Gupta, the fountainhead of our Consultancy Division, is one of our Mentors and has over 31 years of professional experience in FMCG Sales & Marketing, primarily in Foods. He is currently the President of KBB Nuts Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi, which is one of India's largest dry fruit importers, processors, and marketers, with leading brands such as Tulsi Dry Fruits, Gourmia Fine Dining for Snacks, and Naturoz Naturally Healthy, of which the last 2 have been launched by Naresh only.
Prior to KBB, he was Country Manager, India for Paramount Farms (California, USA), who are the world’s largest growers of tree nuts. There he headed Bulk Pistachios & Almonds and Branded Retail businesses for India. Naresh is credited with creating the success of the brand Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds in a highly competitive & unorganized category in India. The brand had become well known pan India across the Modern Trade, and also in significant areas in the North, West & South India in General Trade. Wonderful was the first in India to have single-use packs in the nut category to encourage mass consumption of pistachios and almonds. Also, the first to mass advertise Diwali Gift Packs in the category.

Prior to joining Paramount Farms, Naresh headed the Domestic business as Executive Vice President with L T Foods Limited, New Delhi known more for Daawat Basmati Rice, where he led changes from totally owner-driven management to a more professional FMCG set–up, a first for the category. Key brands were synergized into one brand template, and new specialized sub-brands were launched for upcoming Modern Trade, and HoReCa segments. He was also an Additional Director at sister concern, Staple Distribution Company Limited, Mumbai, providing supply chain solutions to Daawat, Shakti Bhog, Leh Berry, Cremica, Ricela etc., brands.

Naresh has also worked in leading Sugar & Tea companies for their branded business. He is credited with spearheading the Branded Sugar business foray of Balrampur Chini, as well as restructuring the Packet Tea division of Goodricke Group. Naresh has worked pan India sales in Duncans Tea in various roles. He has also sold processed foods in Lever & UB group companies handling brands like Kissan, Dipy’s, Sona Spices and Top Ramen Noodles at various times, and in Odisha and the North East States.

Naresh has done mainstream MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Prior to his MBA, he did graduation in Commerce from Utkal University, Odisha. Schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya.
